Digital Twin

We use 3D scanning technology to create a ‘digital twin’ of a buildings interior. This is especially useful for landlords to record the condition and extent of their space prior to agreement for lease with their tenants.

A digital twin can also be used as a virtual tour allowing landlords to showcase their property to the world 24/7.

A digital twin is a great way to compliment an agreement for lease tenant pack as it provides a record of the space prior to a tenant undertaking CAT-B interior fit-out works, during the dilapidations period the digital twin can be used as a visual reference to assist with this process.

This service is also a great way for our clients to showcase the completed project to stakeholders and clients.

“Xplor Technologies office which is located in the Central Square South building, Newcastle Upon Tyne opened in November 2021. 5EDGE Architectural Design Service were commissioned to design an open & collaborative layout plan office for a busy 146 desk call center / training environment incorporating breakout space for lunch, coffee breaks and informal meetings. I worked closely with Neil Sedgley of 5EDGE whom I found to be an extremely likeable, professional, always very approachable and on hand during the design & fit out process. The M&E installations are easy to manage making the facilities management very practical, straight forward and stress free. Upon opening the new office our colleagues and visitor have been hugely impressed with the working environment and give the option to often work from home most staff have chosen to commute to the office to enjoy the working space which provides a good mix of desks and away from desk working also the opportunity to engage in face to face meetings. The attention to detail in terms of the overall design is very impressive using high quality finishings throughout. A lot of consideration was given to noise suppression during the design stage as the office is primarily a call centre environment. This has been achieved throughout and a more relaxed place to work has been achieved. The initial close out and hand over of the office as the project was seamless and extremely thorough.
